“I first heard about the refer a friend from the in-house posters and the Facebook advertisements. When my partner Mark first moved to Shrewsbury and needed a job, with his knowledge of care work I thought this would be perfect for him. When he applied for the job it was easy for him to just say my name in the interview when he was asked the question for the refer a friend. When Mark got offered the job, I received a letter thanking me and telling me that when Mark completed his induction period, I would receive £100 and a further £100 when he had been employed for a full year. I have now received £200 which we put towards a nice few days away to celebrate our engagement.
