CCL’s Charity Ball was a night of wonderful entertainment set in Shrewsbury’s beautiful Albright Hussey.
The theme for this years Charity Ball was Strictly Come Dancing, attracting guests from Shrewsbury and beyond to raise money for the CCL Hydrotherapy Pool.
Guests enjoyed ballroom dancing by local dancers Ross and Chloe from Step by Step Dance Instruction, followed by a delicious 3-course meal. The CCL raffle and auction prizes were extremely well received, prizes included; The Blackpool Tower Ballroom and Afternoon Tea, Luxury Hampers, Hot Air Ballooning, Spa Package, Football Tickets and 2 Muscovy Ducks to name a few! Music was provided by The Vertigo Band and a disco with DJ Andy.
CCL were thrilled to announce on the night that we had reached £100,000 in donations towards the Hydrotherapy Pool. After several years of fundraising it was very special to announce such a fantastic achievement. A huge thank you to everyone who has helped with fundraising events. However big or small, your donations are always greatly appreciated.

A special thank you to everyone who donated prizes for the Raffle and Auction. We raised an impressive £5,217 on the night, which will be added to the CCL Hydrotherapy Pool donations.
The Hydropool is currently on track for completion on Wednesday 18th March 2020. We look forward to informing you of our official Open Day very soon!
