CCL’s Makaton Club enjoyed learning some new signs, with a Spooky Twist!
The Makaton Club, which is organised by CCL’s Speech and Language Assistant, Nicky Robinson, provides CCL learners the opportunity to learn and practice new signs, whilst enjoying a community setting.
This month the theme was Halloween, with learners enjoying painting, decorating biscuits, designing masks and learning a variety of Makaton signs.
The Makaton signs included ‘Pumpkin’ ‘Spider’ ‘Witch’ and ‘Halloween’.
Jules really enjoyed using cut apples to paint pumpkins and Emma had great fun decorating her biscuit which looked spooktacular!
