Following government guidance, we COVID test our care team 3 times a week. This includes one PCR test and two LFD tests. Our office team also receive one PCR test per week.

A huge amount of time and effort goes into making sure we maintain our COVID testing policy. It is not an easy task and is time consuming to say at the least! From ordering the tests, booking couriers (who sometimes don’t turn up, so more have to be booked!), administering and recording results, to distributing the results to all 287 members of staff via email and text. Numerous members of the team are involved in ensuring this process is completed flawlessly, and 3 times a week. All testing is done in-house by our testing team, who have been trained and authorised to do so.

Whilst this process takes a considerable amount of time and has meant increasing our workload, our priority is keeping our learners and team safe. Our team have adapted remarkably to the challenges we have faced over the last year, and we couldn’t be prouder.
