On Tuesday 21st March, Beth Tudor, one of CCL’s budding apprentices attended the Hereford and Ludlow College County Training Apprenticeship Awards at the Gateway in Shrewsbury. Supporting her there, were her family, Beth’s Assessor Christine Burns, Chief Executive Vikki Pryce and Beth’s supervisor Gill Ward.
The room was filled with anticipation with around 100 people in attendance, including, nominees, their families and employers. With over 20 Apprenticeship Awards up for grabs, including Business Administration, Early Years, Teaching Assistant, Agriculture and Health and Social Care to get to this stage was no mean feat.
The audience was entertained by an array of guest speakers; including Telford and Wrekin Apprenticeship Promoter, the owner and registered manager of Hendra House who have been using County Training for their apprentices for over 25 years, plus previous winners and nominees.
Beth who won her category for Business Administration Apprentice was presented with a certificate and a fabulous glass trophy by Jon Gill the Director of County Training.
Beth had this to say about her achievement. “Just to be nominated for the Rising Star award was a huge achievement but to win it was a big surprise! Thank you to all the team at Condover College and my Apprenticeship Assessor, for your help and support over the past 10 months!”
And Vikki Pryce CCL’s Chief Executive had this to say “We are extremely proud of Beth, she totally deserves to have received this award. Her work is always of a high standard and she puts 100% into everything that she does. She is certainly our rising Star.”
